IASC Facility Certification Program

How do consumers know what aloe vera product they should buy? How do they know if proper care is taken to process the aloe vera they use? How do they know if the product they buy is adulterated? The fact is they don't. The only recommendation that the Council can give to those who call and ask us, which is quite often, is to buy products which carry the IASC Certification Seal.

The IASC Certification Seal is equivalent to the UL logo on electrical devices or the Good Housekeeping Seal of approval, and offers consumers a strong measure of confidence in the aloe vera products they are looking to purchase.

The facility certification program is a very important aspect of the certification program for aloe raw material and finished products.

A manufacturing facility that obtains IASC facilty certification produces consumer products that have had an IASC inspector conduct an audit of their facility to the program standards, including a review of manufacturing SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) that satisfy the program requirements and establish that the facility is qualified to produce aloe products.

Marketers with products in the IASC certification program who have their products manufacturered by an IASC certified facility will have less expense involved, as the manufacturer has already paid facility certification costs.

Contact the IASC office for additional information, application forms, cost estimates or the process required to get your product(s) certified.
