IASC Announces Results of 2010 Board of Directors Elections

March 31, 2010 – Because a quorum of the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) membership was not present at the annual meeting held in Anaheim, Calif. on March 15, 2010, the election for the IASC Board of Directors was unable to take place. In accordance with the IASC by-laws the election was postponed for two weeks and completed entirely by e-mail/postal mail.

With the process now complete, the IASC is pleased to announce that the following individuals now comprise the IASC Board of Directors:

“The IASC continues to be represented by an active group of individuals who are highly dedicated to the aloe vera industry,” said IASC Executive Director, Devon Powell. “The organization is pleased to welcome back many long-standing board members as a result of this election, as well as warmly welcome a few new ones”.

Board officer elections, which include the President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer, as well as two at-large board members for participation as members of the Executive Committee, will now commence via e-mail and is expected to be completed within two weeks.
