From time to time, IASC received requests from companies that are interested in becoming a part of the growing Aloe business. Aloe can be grown in parts of the world where it does not freeze. Aloe plants cannot tolerate freezing temperatures. Aloe needs a sufficient amount of regular rain or irrigation. Aloe should be cared for in a routine fashion such as weeding and fertilizing, etc. The mature Aloe plant can produce upward to 35 pups (small plants) annually. Removal of the pups can serve to start new fields, be sold for commercial use or for other practical purposes. Aloe plants can be ready for the leaves to be removed and processed for commercial use when they are approximately 2-1/2 years old. IASC recommends that if you make the decision to enter this Industry and plant Aloe fields and/or build facilities to produce Aloe raw material or finished products, you should seek expert assistance. There are many areas of assistance you should seriously consider. IASC is not able to assist you in this area. We actually move into the picture when your Aloe fields and/or your manufacturing facility are complete. We sincerely hope you will ask for membership and seek IASC certification. For assistance in growing, harvesting, processing Aloe raw material and/or finished products containing Aloe, you may well want to seek professional help. IASC has a list of well qualified consultants who can help you do things correctly the first time and guide you into the assistance needed. These consultants are not IASC employees. They are independent contractors that have agreed to assist those who choose to use their talents. Naturally, they do charge for their services. It is our desire to help you begin your business in the most appropriate fashion. Good luck and we look forward to your becoming a member of our organization very soon. Yours truly,
